28Ft Bertram Fly-Bridge with upper and lower helm – 45000 dollar boat in the making…..Currently in restoration process, has two new extra props, Marine Air system, 8 new OEM crusader motor mounts, hydraulic trim tabs, battery charger, 24 mile Furuno radar, extra shaft, Twin Bimini-Tops with full curtains. She comes with two newly rebuilt 270 HP Crusaders (not installed, 0 Hours-see photos). We have fabricated a new main rudder cross support, a couple cables, the fuel tanks have been opened and cleaned (fiberglass). The boat is tight and strong. The boat was dry stored in a covered shelter for 10 years before I purchased her, see last two photos. The boat has upper and lower helms, a/c, cold box. The boat needs completion as I purchased a Very Large Sailboat and unfortunately I can not finish her. She is a great candidate for long term safe blue water enjoyment. Price includes a new Float on aluminum 32ft Magic Loader trailer (see photo).

Asking price is $27,500.00. For further information and photos please call Gil at 305-710-0116 or visit the following link. For those wanting to convert to diesel (great choice) deduct $2250 for the crusaders and deduct another $2000 should you not want the trailer.

Bertram 28 'Julia' FOR SALE

POSTED 11-23-2004 - Boat Location: Huntington Beach, CA (in Huntington Harbor)

Asking Price: $39,000 (check Yachtworld.com and you will see only 7 other 28's in Calif. - comparable boats going for $50,000 and up) Model: 1979 Flybridge Sportfish Length: 28' Beam: 11' 2" Draft: 3'0" Fuel Tank: 160 Gal Fiberglass Fresh Water Tank: 50 Gal (I need to verify size) Engines: Twin 228 HP Mercruisers (freshwater cooled) with Borg Warner Velvet Drive Xmissions Engine History: Both engines run very well. They have been well maintained and they fire right up immediatly. They are also very quiet. When I bought the boat earlier this year, I spent nearly $3,000 on the engines. I have a receipt that explains what exactly was done. I hired Clyde Kent and his partner John to completly go through both engines. They replaced several gaskets, hoses, filters, pumps and several other items to bring the engines to peak performance. I also have receipts from the prior owner on all work done on the boat. The hour meters do not work on the engines. I have kept a detailed log of the oil consumption of the engines. I am burning about 1 quart of oil per engine for every 100 miles. I just finished changing the oil on the engines as well as fuel filters and spark plugs, zincs etc. The great thing about the engines on this boat is that they are extremely easy to maintain on compared to many boats. The engines are very accessible and the center hatch on this boat lifts right off providing a large and spacious work area.
